These hayrides can be enjoyed without prescheduling.
Hayrides to the Easter Bunny are offered on March 24 & 25, March 28-31, and April 2nd 2018. This event includes a hayride through the orchard to the Easter Bunny's house. Each person will get to visit the Easter Bunny, enjoy a seasonal poem and a special treat. Please check the Events page for more details.
By the Light of the Silvery Moon Hayrides are offered Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm-8pm in October. You are welcome to come and go as you please. This is a non-scary leisurely ride through the orchard. After the ride you may enjoy a cup of cider as you sit around the campfire. This event is $7 per person. Please visit the Red Shed by the playground when you arrive.
Fall Harvest Weekends in September and October offer a 15 minute Hayride through the orchard. This option is available between 12pm-5pm and is $5 per person.

How many people fit on a wagon?
Our wagons can hold 30 adults or about 35 adults and children.
How do I reserve a hayride?
Please call the Highland Orchards office at 610-269-3494 to reserve your hayride. A $50.00 deposit per wagon is reuqired to reserve your hayride.
What happens if the weather is questionable?
We ask that you give as much notice as possible if you choose to cancel or reschedule your event. Highland Orchards Inc. reserves the right to cancel an event if conditions at the orchard are unfavorable.
What should we bring for our event?
Your group may want to enjoy come donuts and cider during your event. Please bring cups, napkins and a trash bag. Your group is welcome to bring roasting sticks, hot dogs and marshmallows! You may want to bring a few blankets to snuggle up under on a brisk evening and a guitar. A flashlight may be useful.
Where do we park before our event?
Your group may park in the parking area by the market. Please have your group arrive 15 minutes before the event. We are not able to wait for late arrivals. Our campfire area is accessible by wagon only.
Are there rules we should be aware of?
We ask that the contact person is responsible for making all participants aware of the Hayride Rules. The wagon cannot leave the parking lot if overloaded. Excessive rowdiness and unsafe behavior on the wagon or at the campfire site will not be tolerated. For everyones safety we ask that there is no smoking in or near the wagon.
Private Group Hayrides
A hayride can be enjoyed through many different ways at Highland Orchards.
• We offer a 1 hour hayride which includes a relaxing tractor pulled wagon ride around our orchard. Your group will enjoy each others company and starlite views of the orchard. The cost is $95 per wagon. FAQ
• Our 2 hour event includes a 45 minute leisurely tractor pulled wagon ride around our scenic orchard which will bring your group to a secluded spot deep within our orchard and will be your campfire area. Our staff will attend the fire and assist your group with getting on and off the wagon. Your group can enjoy the open air and starlite evening for one hour at the campfire site. Your group will then finish the evening with a 15 minute hayride back to the parking area. The cost is $200 per wagon. FAQ
• Your group is welcome to schedule an extended time down at the campfire. We offer a 3 hour or 4 hour event.
• Your group can order some apple cider donuts and apple cider to enjoy during your event!
