Let's Get Picking!

Pick-Your-Own Directions at Highland Orchards 🍏

1. Check-in at the Red Shed (weekends) or at the Farm Market (weekdays).

  • Field Access Fee: $3 per person (ages 3 and older) grants access to our orchards for fruit picking.
  • Season Pass Holders: Enjoy free entry for 2 people and a 10% discount on picking bags.
  • Important: Present your field access token to the shuttle driver to access the fields.

2. Purchase Your Picking Bags

  • Only cloth bags purchased on the day are permitted for picking. Outside containers, including previous year’s bags, are not allowed.
  • Bag Options:
    • Green Bag: $15 (Holds ~7 lbs)
    • Black Bag with Orange Handle: $25 (Holds ~14 lbs)
    • Orange Bag: $40 (Holds ~24 lbs)
  • Tip: Please pick only in-season fruit. We want you to enjoy the best of our harvest!

3. Shuttle Service (available on weekends only)

  • Catch the shuttle at the Kiosk to ride to the picking fields.
  • No walking or driving to the fields is permitted on weekends for safety reasons.
  • Accessibility: Wheelchair access is available on the shuttle, or you can drive to the fields on weekdays for accessibility needs.

Join us for Pick-Your-Own experiences during the following hours:

  • Tuesday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Picking Guidelines

By entering Highland Orchards, your group acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks of visiting a working farm. Potential hazards include bees, insects, uneven ground, fallen fruit, branches, and active farm equipment. As a private property, Highland Orchards requires visitors to follow all posted rules and instructions. Entry to the farm signifies your agreement to these terms for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

Health and Safety Procedures at Highland Orchards

To ensure the safety of our staff and visitors, please follow these guidelines:

  • If You Are Sick, Don’t Pick: Avoid entering the farm if you’re experiencing symptoms like coughing, fever, or if you’ve been exposed to Covid-19.
  • Sanitize Your Hands: Before and after picking.
  • Wash Fruit: Clean all fruit before eating.
  • Field Access Fee: Required for all visitors (age requirements apply).

Supervise children, follow instructions from staff, and no pets are allowed in the fields.
